Nintendo has released the newest update for its seminal action adventure game, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which launched almost a year ago to widespread acclaim, some of the highest scores in history, over 150 Game of the Year awards, and over 7 million copies sold.

Nintendo has released The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild update 1.5.0 for both the Nintendo Switch and Wii U. As with most patches released by Nintendo, the release notes are rather minimal. Most of Hyrule’s scenery is accessible by walking, paragliding or climbing. While the game still includes barriers (such as weather effects, inhospitable environments or strong enemies), many of these can be overcome. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This is an experimental, WIP decompilation of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild v1.5.0 (Switch). This project only concerns the main executable which contains all the game code and statically linked libraries. The RomFS and the SDK libraries are out of the scope of this project. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an action / adventure game on Switch. Link wakes up from a 100-year-old sleep in a devastated Hyrule kingdom. He will have to unravel the mysteries of the past and defeat Ganon, the plague. The adventure takes place in a gigantic open world and thus gives an important part to the exploration.

This latest update is actually going to be one that won’t add much of use for most readers of this site- basically, it adds Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese language support to the game. Please note, however, that these languages are only supported fo text and subtitles- the actual voice acting will switch to Japanese if you opt to play through the game in these languages.

  • Voice Language selection is not supported for the above languages. If you choose “Match System Settings” in Options, voice data will be set to Japanese.
